GOALS
Enhance the educational opportunities for students in the Central Columbia School District. Increase public involvement within the School District. Create initiatives which support imaginative and creative teachers and other school personnel.

PROVISIONS
Small Grants for Teachers - The Central Columbia Foundation will award grants of up to $500 to teachers to aid them in designing and developing projects to enhance student learning.

"Above and Beyond" Grants - The Foundation will award grants for innovative projects that enhance student and community participation in school programs beyond the normal School District support.

Foundation Requests - The Central Columbia Foundation will also provide funding for academic, extracurricular and cultural enrichment projects for the benefit of all District students.

FOUNDATION "GRANTS"
The Central Columbia Educational Foundation has donated money towards the following items to help with the education and safety of the Central Columbia staff, students, and community over the last few years.

Police K-9
Meet Sully.  Sully is the district's new Police K-9.  The Foundation has helped with the purchase of our new team member.  Sully is trained in tobacco, drug, vape and weapon protection.  He will start accompanying Officer Bradley around the district starting August 2022.

Annie Simulator Mannequin Bed
This medical bed was purchased by the Foundation for the Medical Sciences department in the high school.  This bed allows students to receive instruction on how to provide "patients" with medical/life saving procedures.  

Elementary STEM Classroom Desks
STEM Classroom Desks were purchased for the elementary school's new computer science program.  This program was started the start of the 2021-22 school year and these desks allow for easy movement around the classroom.
