Mr. Sharrow attended Southern Columbia High School in Catawissa, Pennsylvania. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology/ Anthropology and received his Elementary teaching certificate from Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Mr. Sharrow completed and earned a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and his Principal's Certificate from Wilkes University. He earned his Letter of Eligibility from Delaware Valley University.

Mr. Sharrow began his career with Central Columbia in 1994 as a 5th grade teacher. In August of 2006, Mr. Sharrow became the assistant principal for the Central Columbia Elementary and Middle Schools. In July 2011, he became the Central Columbia Elementary Principal where he served the district until 2019. Beginning in 2019, Mr. Sharrow now serves the district as the Assistant Superintendent. In addition to working for Central Columbia as a teacher and administrator, Mr. Sharrow has also served as an assistant basketball and football coach.

Mr. Sharrow is married to Polly, a kindergarten teacher with the Southern Columbia Area School District. They have 3 children, 2 sons and a daughter, Alec, Addison, and Andrew. In his free time, Mr. Sharrow enjoys hunting, camping, and traveling.
